Concert Series for Das Neue Mannheimer Orchester

The 2017-2018 concert series for my group Das Neue Mannheimer Orchester traces the Rise of the Classical Style between 1730-1800 through the compositions of forgotten composers: especially those from Mannheim. The 18th century is a treasure trove of wonderful music in many different styles and aesthetics, and many forgotten gems have only been unearthed recently. We took it upon ourselves to showcase and premiere this forgotten music alongside familiar classics in our series.
