Square piano by J.G. Irmler

This square piano with Viennese action was built by Johann Christian Gottlieb Irmler in Leipzig in 1823. Irmler studied piano-building in Vienna, but eventually started his own workshop in Leipzig in 1818. 
This instrument was acquired from a private collection and restored by Bart Houtgraaf in Hillegom in 2021.
